The shell is made of ABS plastic with nylon as reinforcement inside. The upholstered chair is upholstered with cold cured foam and covered with textile or leather. Base : The base for 3110 is made of 14 mm steel tubes with 4 legs and leg ferrules of black synthetic material. The base is mounted to the shell with joint filler. The bases are available in chromed steel or power coated steel in 4 colours. On upholstered chairs, the chrome base has a chromed steel glide made in one piece with the legs.
