The Black Timber House, designed by Daniel Windpassinger, is situated in the Bavarian landscape and is crafted to blend seamlessly with its natural surroundings. The house employs natural materials, clean lines, and generous glazing to foster a serene connection between the interior and the outdoors. The warm timber used throughout the interior spaces contributes to a cozy atmosphere, while integrated storage solutions and concealed doors ensure that the living areas remain minimal and uncluttered. Every detail of the Black Timber House has been meticulously considered to maximize its compact footprint of 80 m² (861 ft²). This design approach creates a home that feels open, tranquil, and deeply connected to nature. Built largely by its owner, the house reflects a personal interpretation of modern living, emphasizing simplicity, natural elements, and the rhythms of everyday life.
